Our mission
at A.S.D is to deliver the most insightful information and tools
possible to assist victims of Spyware in the war against malicious
programs. This site was arose from a nightmare Spyware experience
that caused devastation in our lives. It took years and many phone
calls just to piece our lives together and make sure all of our
critical data was not compromised. At that time, there wasn't much
information about the epidemic waiting around the corner.
Information about Spyware was just at its infancy and there were not
many places to turn. Luckily, a dearest friend who was a part time
IT manager informed us about the lurking threat. Since that day we
have pledge to stay informed and to inform the masses to the best of
our abilities. If we can prevent or help one victim from Spyware
then this site will be considered a great success. We hope this site
offers you the information needed to defeat Spyware, Adware and all
malicious codes and programs that lurk on the net.
How does Spyware Infect
PCs?
It's a simple question
that's getting more and more complex to answer with each day. With
so many methods of distribution available (and more surfacing every
month) to Spyware makers it makes it difficult for a victim to
pinpoint the exact source of the infection. New Spyware is designed
to have a delay set so your PC won't be infected until an allocated
amount of time has passed. By the time you discover the infection,
chances are you already vacated the source.
Most common Distribution
tactics:
-File Sharing Networks
-Trojan Horse Piggybacking
-Security Holes/Flaws
-Fake MS Dialog Boxes
-Software Key Generator Sites
-Porn Sites
-Deceiving Pop-Ups

code designed specifically to penetrate, damage or cause eventual
harm to a computer. The term was created by combining malicious and
software to form Malware. Financial gain is generally the motive
behind the creation of these malicious programs but general harm or
pranks can also be the intention. However we are seeing less and
less of Malware pranks and consistent stream of revenue generating
